The woman who was killed after a tree blew into her car in Aglish, County Waterford yesterday has been named as 58 year old Clare O’Neill.
The branch of a tree fell on her car and crashed through the windscreen at about 11.40am just a kilometre from her home.
She was originally from Co Cork and had worked as an oncology nurse for more than 30 years, working recently with the Cork ARC cancer support service , based in Youghal.
Her mother, who is in her 70s, was a passenger in the car. She was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
