Seamus Power's outside chance of a first PGA Tour title slipped away yesterday.

Waterford's Seamus Power great start at the Sanderson Farms Championship in the US was halted yesterday . He had to settle for a share of 18th place after he carded a final round of 75.

The West Waterford golfer made just a single birdie and dropped four strokes yesterday. That left him on six under par for the tournament.

Seamus finished 13 shots off the winner, Ryan Armour, who won for the first time on the PGA Tour.

He shot a four-under par 68 for a five-stroke victory in Mississippi.
