Some of the largest marine animals in the world can currently be seen off the Waterford Coast.
A number Fin and Minky whales as well as dolphins and porpoises have returned to Dunmore East to feed on migrating herring.
Brendan Glody is from Dunmore Boat Trips, and says that the whales have arrived early this year.
"They can be seen clearly from the harbour or from Red Head or anywhere in Dunmore at the moment but it's very unusual to have them in the inner harbour for so long".
He says the Fin Whales can reach incredible sizes: "It's very rare you'll get to see the whole length of the whale, but every now and again they pop up and you get to see their full bulk and then you really appreciate the size of them... it's breathtaking".
