Clodagh Beresford Dunne from Dungarvan has a background in English and Law, and has dabbled in writing and journalism from a young age, being from a newspaper family.  She's been writing poetry, in between juggling a busy family life, for the past number of years.

"Seven Sugar Cubes" is one of only four shortlisted for Irish Poem of the Year at the Bórd Gail Energy Irish Book Awards.

You can vote for Clodagh through www.irishbookawards.irish, and the winner will be announced in late November. Have a listen below to her chat with Mary "On the Fringe.."
