Over a thousand walkers are today celebrating the life of a loved one, a friend, or a colleague
in the Kilbarry Eco Park.
Waterford Hospice are hoping to raise twenty thousand euro.
The hospice in Waterford employs 5 nurses trained in palliative care who work throughout homes in the city and county.
The organisation is also fundraising for their new centre at University Hospital Waterford.

The facility will cost 20 million euro, six million of that must be contributed by the local hospice organisation.
