Waterford FC continue preparations for premier league

Waterford FC yesterday added to their squad as preparations continue ahead of the new season which will see the club return to the Premier League for the first time in ten years.

David Webster who spent the past three years with Shamrock Rovers will play in the centre of the defence.

Garry Comerford who was the vital member of the promotion winning team last season has also agreed a new deal with the Blues.

Alan Reynolds the Waterford FC manager says he is delighted with yesterday's signings and the squad is taking shape nicely:

"It is decent and there are some unproven young ones in there - we haven't the biggest budget in the world so we have to be careful, but we're always looking to improve and we'll see -  more players might become available".
