An incident room has been set up in Tramore Garda Station and anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between 8.30pm and 10.30pm is asked to contact them on 051-391620.

Seanie Power is a Fine Gael Councillor in the area, he is asking people to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to Gardai. He's encouraging people to sign up for the text alert in the area. Councillor Power says "without doubt there's a lot of people in rural areas living in fear", he says it's so important "to report if you see a suspicious car on the road".
