The footballers begin their Division 4 National Football League campaign on Sunday.
Tom McGlinchey's charges travel to Aughrim to face Wicklow.
Stradbally's Eoin O'Brien is delighted to be in the Waterford team. He says preparations are going well: "We're getting a good 28 or 29 lads training, the crowds to training are really good." He added that "we've all the work done over the last four or five weeks, we've prepared well so hopefully we can get over the line on Sunday."
The game in Aughrim throws in at 2.00pm.
