Waterford born music promoter Vince Power is bringing a new festival to Liverpool.

The Feis will be Vince Power's first festival in eight years and will see Van Morrisan, Chieftains, Imelda May, The Hothouse Flowers, Foy Vance and The Coronas among others play on the Waterfront on July 7th.

Vince grew up in Kilmacthomas County Waterford and moved to London aged 16 to build a music empire

He said he was in Liverpool talking to the Council regarding other things and he really liked the venue there. He says they have given him a huge amount of help. He said the Pier Head is a big open space in the centre of Liverpool which is a really exciting venue for this festival.

Vince Power says there's huge talent in Ireland at the moment. He said there has been a brilliant reaction and he could do another festival with the amount of acts he has had to turn down.
