Waterford FC face Sligo Rovers this evening

Waterford FC have made the lengthy journey to the Showgrounds to face Sligo Rovers in the Airtricity league Premier Divsion this evening.

The Blues have won both their home games against Derry City and St. Pats, while they suffered a 2-nil defeat in their last away game against champions Cork City.

Waterford are second in the table, while the Westerners lie second from bottom with one win from three.

Paul says the Showgrounds is always a difficult place to go.

Paul told WLR Sport it's going to be a busy month with seven games in three weeks.

The action is underway at 7:45pm.

Elsewhere tonight, Dundalk welcome champions Cork City to Oriel Park in the S-S-E Aritricity League Premier Division tonight.

Shamrock Rovers play host to Derry City.
