An event is taking place in Waterford City to commemorate the lives of the Magdalene women.
Flowers for Magdalenes starts at 12 noon at St Mary's Cemetery in Ballygunner.
This annual event commemorates the lives of women who were incarcerated in the Good Shepherd Magdalene Laundry, Waterford. We will honour the memory of these women through song, poetry, reflection, and laying flowers on their graves.
Flowers for Magdalenes is a family event and children are welcome.
