A small work syndicate in Waterford who won one million euro in the EuroMillions 'Ireland Only Raffle' draw on the 1st June have collected their cheque.
The syndicate who bought their ticket at Tramore Service Station have only being playing together since last September.
One of the winners said it was amazing luck. They checked the ticket while grabbing a sandwich on the way to work on Saturday morning
and was advised to contact the National Lottery.
They sat in the car for an hour looking at it and double checking.
They said 'There was barely a tap done in work that day as our heads were gone. We called it a day before lunchtime!
The syndicate members also revealed that they were going to use the windfall to pay bills first and will then splash out on a few niceties.
