Gardai in Waterford City are investigating after a car was stolen following a burglary overnight.
It happened in Collins Avenue, on the Dunmore Road, sometime between 1.30am and 5.00am on Wednesday morning.
Entry was gained through a window and the keys to the metallic gold coloured Golf were taken.
The three-door golf has the registration 172 W 830.
An ipad, keys, black safe and phones were all in the car and may have been dumped somewhere.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has seen the car since is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station on 051 305300.
Three cars were also broken into in the Williamstown Village area in the early hours of this morning. A number of items were stolen.
Gardai are reminding people to lock their cars before they go to bed and remove any valuables.
