Registration for the WLR Waterford Viking Marathon on Saturday is taking place today at the WIT Arena.
3,000 runners will take part in the 7th annual race, in the full, half and quarter marathons.
Speaking to WLR Sport, organiser and committee member, Edel Walsh says if you are taking part you should take it easy today.
Edel says with the hot weather you should lower your expectations tomorrow.

"On the Ball" will be coming to you live from the WIT Arena at the finish line tomorrow between 12 Noon and 1pm.
