Waterford boxer Rohan Date had to settle for a draw last night in his 5th bout as a professional.
Rohan had won his previous four bouts
He fought the undefeated and highly rated English welterweight Wes Smith in Bracknell last night and although it appeared Rohan won at least three of the four rounds the fight was declared a draw.
The referee declared that both fighters scored 39 points.

Another of Waterford's professionals Craig McCarthy will be in action on Saturday next in the famous York Hall in London.
His opponent will be named later today.
