Clare and Galway to do battle again as Limerick become the first team to qualify for this year's All-Ireland SHC Final

Limerick booked their place in the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final for the first time in 11 years.

The Treaty County came from six points down to beat Cork after extra time at Croke Park yesterday.

Substitutes Shane Dowling and Pat Ryan scored goals in quick succession to hand their side a 3-32 to 2-31 win.

The other semi ended all square in another epic encounter on Saturday as Clare and Galway finished level, 1-30 apiece after extra-time.

Former Waterford hurling boss Michael Ryan says both games were a brilliant advertisement for hurling.

Michael told WLR Sport Cork will be disappointed not to have closed out yesterday's game.
