Big day for Waterford referee in Nowlan Park tomorrow

Waterford referee Thomas Walsh will referee his first All-Ireland Final this weekend.

The Modeligo clubman will be the man in the middle for tomorrow's All-Ireland Under-21 'B' Hurling Championship Final between Kerry and Derry in Nowlan Park.

Thomas has had a very busy season on his first year on the Inter-County panel and recently took charge of the Munster Minor hurling Final between Tipperary and Limerick.

Speaking to WLR Sport, Thomas was delighted when he got the news earlier in the week.
