A 22 year old motorcyclist has been killed following a crash in Waterford.
The man was fatally injured when his motorbike struck a barrier on the Tramore Road near Waterford City shortly before 10.00pm last night. .
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post mortem.
The road remains closed between the Tramore Road Roundabout and the Ballindud Roundabout.

The scene will be examined by Garda forensic collision investigators this morning.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 051 305300.
