LISTEN BACK, On the Ball - Saturday September 8th

An Rinn joint-manager John Power spoke to WLR Sport after their thrilling one point win over Clashmore/Kinsalebeg in the opening Co. SFC Quarter-Final last night in Fraher Field, we also looked ahead to the three remaining last eight ties - Ballinacourty and Gaultier clash in Leamybrien this evening at 7pm. Tomorrow, there's a Comeragh derby at 3:30pm in Fraher Field as The Nire entertain Rathgormack, while what's billed to be the big game of the weekend sees defending champions, Stradbally face near neighbours Kilrossanty at 7pm.

The new coach of the Maxol Waterford Wildcats Dimitris Zacharias from Greece spoke exclusively with Matt Keane at their official launch on Thursday.
Matt also spoke to West Waterford AC Athlete, Joe Gough headed off to Malaga on Thursday for the World Master's Track and Field Championship. The 65 year old is the only Waterford representative from the one hundred and twenty athletes from Ireland who will be competing.
Mark Phillips filled us on all the weekend's Racing action, as well as the Munster Oaks Final in Greyhound Racing taking place at Kilcohan Park tonight.
