Despite the inclement weather the 2018 final of the Speedrite Dog Food Munster Oaks attracted a fine sized attendance to Kilcohan Park last night.
With the odds on favourite Vancouver involved in first bend crowding 7/4 chance Droopys Saga motored into the lead.
Owned by Sean Dunphy from Portlaw and trained by Robert Gleeson Droopys Saga was never in any subsequent danger in the €4,500 to the winner event cruising to a seven and a half lengths defeat of Moorstown Freya in an excellent winning time of 28.16.
