Almost 40 thousand homes, farms and businesses nationally are still without power this morning.
Power has been restored to areas in Waterford affected yesterday following Storm Ali.
It hit Ireland yesterday, leaving two people dead in separate incidents in Galway and south Armagh.

Another weather warning comes into effect this morning - the yellow rain alert is in place for 7 counties including Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Cork.
The warning comes into effect at 9pm this morning and will remain in place until 9pm tonight.
Rain will be persistent and heavy at times, especially during the afternoon.
There is a risk of spot flooding with up to 40mm of rain expected.
