5pm: GOMA invites you to ‘BGAA Stadium’: an interactive installation by artist Carl Giffney. Working on a 6 month studio residency in the gallery’s locale, this project was conceived as an initiative that takes the form of a small school or academy for the board game backgammon. Back Gammon Association Academy (BGAA) is the resulting group of people who now play and teach the board game within the surrounding area.

6pm: Fancy transforming yourself into a lion, a cat, or a monkey? Head over to the amazing GOMA and explore your creativity with visual artist Ruth Flynn as she invites children and parents to make animal themed masks. Following this, children and parents are invited to engage in GOMA's current exhibition "BGAA" and play the board game backgammon as your chosen spirit animal!

8pm: Get into the party mood in GOMA Garden as their garden BBQ kicks off at 8pm and, from 8.30pm, six piece jazz/funk band Amber and the Bear will perform. Expect a lively and jive inspiring performance from this talented band.
