Kilrossanty will appear in their first senior football final in eighteen years after an emphatic 3-16 to 0-12 win against An Rinn at Fraher Field yesterday evening.
Pa Cunningham netted twice for the green and gold while full forward Paul Whyte scored 1-3. Midfielder Tommy Prendergast also landed four points in a one-sided encounter.
Kilrossanty will take on Ballinacourty or The Nire in the county final at the end of the month.
After three previous semi final losses, Paul Whyte was glad to finally make the breakthrough.
Paul suffered a career threatening hip injury earlier this year but made himself available for the quarter final against Stradbally.
He says that a county medal would make all the pain worthwhile.
Kilrossanty manager Emmet Doherty admitted that it was difficult to refocus after defeating Stradbally in the quarter final.
