Waterford food and drink producers are smiling today after 10 of them won prestigious Blas na hEireann awards over the weekend in Dingle.
It is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland with over 2,500 products vying for Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in over 100 food and drink categories.

The Granville Hotel came away with a Bronze for both their Muldoonwhiskey Marmalade and Strawberry Jam!

Dawn Meats, won gold for their 50 Day Dry Aged Rib of Beef and Bone in Strip-loin as well as best in Waterford.
The Sea Gardener won the chefs Choice Award for a "must have" product.
Mezze, also won a chef's larder award for their Seaweed Lavosh Flatbreads

Legacy Irish Cider won a silver award.
