De La Salle Waterford are hoping to improve on last years performance in the Harty Cup when their hurlers take on St. Flannan's in the first round this afternoon.
The game throws in at 1.30pm in Boherlahan in County Tipperary.
Midleton CBS Cork will also contest group B.

Manager Dermot Dooley says they have played a few challenge games ahead of today's fixture.
Dermot says they have a strong panel this year from a number of areas in Waterford and South Kilkenny.
The other Waterford school in the tournament, Blackwater Community School are in Group C alongside Our Lady's Templemore friom Tipperary and John the Baptist Community School Hospital Limerick
Blackwater Community School will take on Our Lady's on Wednesday, November 7th.
