Tonight will see Waterford FC conclude what’s been a bumper season on their return to the top flight.
The Blues welcome Limerick to the RSC for the final game of the Airtricity League Premier Division.
Waterford can look forward to playing European football next season, following Cork City’s recent qualification for the FAI Cup Final.
With back to back defeats against champions, Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers over the past two weeks, the Blues will be keen to end the season with a victory in front of the home fans.
Waterford FC striker Izzy Akinade says the club are one year ahead of schedule in their three year plan.
Izzy says he was pleased to get on the scoresheet against Shamrock Rovers last weekend.
Blues midfielder Gavan Holohan told WLR Sport it’s been a great season for the club.
Kick-off at the Kilbarry venue is at 7:45pm, and Matt Keane will have updates here on WLR.
