Niamh Cleary of Cosmetics company Inglot, whose Waterford branch is based in the City Square Shopping Centre, took home the Rising Star of the Year award.
Last night's ceremony was presented by TV personality Hector Ó hEochagáin and attended by more than 500 members of the Irish retail industry.
Niamh said it was great to be recognised for her work.
"It was for customer service, what you do day to day in work, as well as what you've achieved in the last year," she said. "This year I actually won the Inglot award as well and got to release my own makeup palette."

Niamh started out in her career in the Waterford branch which opened in 2016, is now working with the company in London.
