Handel’s Messiah was first performed in Dublin back in the 18th century and it’s still one of the most loved oratorios of all time.
This production at St John’s Church on December 2nd is being put on by Notable Works Chorus, the City of Dublin Chamber Orchestra, soloists Leah Redmond, Gina Oberoi, Andrew Gavin and Eoin Power, and all under the musical direction of Kevin O’Carroll. Local historian Julian Walton will host the night.
