In Equestrian news the Nations Cup is coming to Waterford next year.

 

Camphire will host the Irish leg of the Nations Cup Series for the first time in July.

Paul Brady, Director of Camphire International Horse Trials says there are seven legs that take place to the series and they will be hosting the fourth
leg from the 24th to the 29th of July.

He says some countries will use the event to try to secure qualification to the 2020 Olympics.

Camphire have been asked to trial a new Olympic format that they are planning for Tokyo
and that is likely to attract a lot of riders that are aiming to go the Olympics as well as an opportunity for nations and riders to
qualify for the Olympics.

He says he would imagine that they will get about 12 nations competing in Camphire.
