Waterford retailer, Ardkeen Quality Food Store has opened an artisan food and coffee store in the Dove Hill Irish Design Centre just outside Carrick on Suir.
Managing Director Colin Jephson says they are are delighted to open in this unique space at Dove Hill, especially as they share their ethos for supporting Irish.
"The opportunity presented itself there for us to open a small space there. We have a small range of Irish artisan food and drink products from our favourite small batch producers from around the region and great coffee like we have in Ardkeen here. It's a small space, it's not the same as we have here [in Waterford]."
Colin Jephson says it's a good fit for Ardkeen.
"We're in the thatch cottage at the front, people will be familiar with it from passing." He added that there's Meadows & Byrne and Blarney Woolen Mills saying "I think we kind of compliment each other."
