Listen back: Local playwright Petra Kindler has penned a one-woman show, which is coming to Garter Lane

"It's in the Blood" has already toured Germany and Ghana, and will be staged at Garter Lane Arts Centre on January 9th.

It's performed by Ghanaian woman Gifty Wiafe, who talks about her experiences of moving to Germany, and what multi-culturalism means. The show is also full of comedy, music and creativity.

"It's in the Blood" will be shown in Dublin at the Project Arts Centre prior to coming to Waterford, as part of the First Fortnight Europe Festival, from January 3rd to 5th.

Petra joined Mary for a chat "On the Fringe," where she also discussed her own life and how she ended up coming here from Germany.
