The annual Farmview auction as part of the WLR Christmas Appeal has raised more than €6,500.
The event in aid of the St Vincent de Paul was hosted by Kieran O’Connor and Sean Organ with Ardmore hurler Declan Prendergast, Farmer of the Year Gillian O'Sullivan and National Quality Award winner Tom Power taking bids.
There was a huge range of farming and non-farming items on offer.
In total more than €57,000 been raised so far for the appeal.
120 companies, schools and organisations took part in the Wear Red Day yesterday.
The Annual Fireman Collection will now take place in John Roberts Square Saturday December 22nd - The Fire Engines will be in place along with Santa and the singing Firemen will be playing a few tunes to entertain Christmas shoppers! Please support them through their bucket collection in aid of the WLR Christmas Appeal.
The Biscuit Club Cycle Group will take part in their annual charity cycle this Sunday leaving Loco in Ardkeen at 9:30am. They will head out to Tramore for a tour before returning to Loko.
