Gardai in Waterford are investigating suspected attempted burglaries in the Williamstown Knockboy area of the City this morning.
The silver audi estate car was noticed in the Heather View Road Estate at 10.50am this morning and Gardai were notified. The car
left the area at speed and drove straight through the toll.
It then proceeded at 200 kilometres an hour up the motorway.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 051-305300

Two weeks ago the barrier on the toll road was rammed and damaged by a vehicle after the robbery of tools from vans belonging to workmen on the St Patricks hospital site
in Waterford City.
