Waterford County Board Chairman Paddy Joe Ryan discussing Derek McGrath Staying With Waterford Hurling.

Waterford County Board Chairman Paddy Joe McGrath joined Eamon Keane on Deise Today this morning to discuss the recent news that manager Derek McGrath is going to extend his tenure as Waterford Senior Hurling manager saying "There is no such thing as signing contracts in the GAA world" and that the decision to stay on for the 2018 season was Derek's own.

He also touches on the recent controversy surrounding the holiday for the county team, their partners and staff paid for from the County budget. On the topic he says "the players have done fundraising and we will support them and hope the public will support them and at the end of the day the players will get to go on a very well deserved holiday".
