Strawberries with Balsamic and Cracked Black Pepper Glaze

This is a great recipe to store in your fridge that can be used as a dressing for salads or in this case a dessert.

Ingredients

  • 150ml good aged balsamic vinegar
  • 50g soft brown sugar
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

In a wide-based pan add vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil just to dissolve the sugar.

In another pan heat the freshly ground black pepper to release the flavor it will start to smoke that’s when you know it is ready.

Add both together and allow to cool.

Drizzle over the strawberries.
