On Sunday 1st of October SETU Arena are holding their SportsAbility Day event from 11-3pm
Representatives from National Governing Bodies, Local Sports Clubs and Disability Organisations will be on hand to provide information support and advice on what is happening in Waterford at present.
Then from 12-3pm there will be a wide range of sports and activities on offer for people to try out, including: Table Tennis, Muay Thai, Boccia, Football, Power Chair Football, Pitch & Putt, Wheelchair Basketball, Hockey, Archery, Footgolf and a variety of different types of bikes to try and access to the High-Performance gym and sprinting track.
A sensory room will be on site for any visitors who need some quiet time during the day.
This FREE event is suitable for people with a disability of all ages, their families, parents, teachers, sports coaches, youth club leaders and anyone interested in sport.
