16-year-old Ava Walsh, a student of Waterpark College began her journey with grief almost 3 years ago.

Her father, Stuart Walsh, died unexpectedly at 47 years of age.

Since then, she has tried to use her grief as a strength and is keen to help other young people through what is, a very personal journey.

She spoke with Dymphna Nugent about her father, her relationship with grief, and the moments of hope she seizes.
