“A big support on Saturday would be huge” Paul Power on Waterford minors

The Waterford minor footballers welcome Laois to Lemybrien on Saturday in the All Ireland Tier 3 Quarter Final.

Throw in is at 2 o'clock and admission is free. Manager Paul Power wants to see a strong home support at the Kilrossanty venue.

"For this group, our home field is Lemybrien. Jason Dee, Maurice and the lads below in Kilrossanty have been fierce good to us over the last couple of weeks and months. Our boys are used to the set-up below there. That’s our home field now. There’s a lovely stand in Kilrossanty and to get a big support on Saturday would be huge for us. We had a one in six chance of getting that home draw and when we did, we’d like to think that everyone will roll in behind us again. It means an awful lot to the young lads; it’s their first time on the big stage. Anything we get will be much appreciated because we have a big task on our hands.”
