The Red Store, Bar and Restaurant is seeking a full-time Head Chef to join its kitchen team.

Managing and running the kitchen on a daily basis include the following tasks -

  • Management of all staff in the Red Store Kitchen.
  • Supervising and training of all kitchen staff which includes devising the weekly kitchen roster
  • Recruiting and training any new members of staff required.
  • Preparation and cooking of all menus in the Red Store.
  • Maintaining and monitoring costs in relation to these menus working in conjunction with accounts to maintain monthly margins.
  • Daily and weekly ordering of food and cleaning items for Kitchen use.
  • Devise and participate in the cleaning schedule in Kitchen and Food Area in the Bar to the standard of our HACCAP Plan.
