The Red Store, Bar and Restaurant is seeking a full-time Head Chef to join its kitchen team.
Managing and running the kitchen on a daily basis include the following tasks -
- Management of all staff in the Red Store Kitchen.
- Supervising and training of all kitchen staff which includes devising the weekly kitchen roster
- Recruiting and training any new members of staff required.
- Preparation and cooking of all menus in the Red Store.
- Maintaining and monitoring costs in relation to these menus working in conjunction with accounts to maintain monthly margins.
- Daily and weekly ordering of food and cleaning items for Kitchen use.
- Devise and participate in the cleaning schedule in Kitchen and Food Area in the Bar to the standard of our HACCAP Plan.
