Dungarvan company to help Santa with digital letters this Christmas

Dungarvan company, BrandAble, is coming on board to help Santa with digital letters this Christmas.

Santa’s Letters offers an interactive digital experience for children while also helping important causes

Children across the country now have the opportunity to send Santa a digital letter, and get a number of personalised responses, thanks to a new initiative.

Santa’s Letters is an interactive digital experience that also allows parents and children to make a real difference to the lives of others this Christmas through its charity partnerships with Barnardos, Ronald McDonald House and Children's Health Foundation At Crumlin Children’s Hospital .

With the help of grown-ups, children can send their digital Christmas wishlist to Santa by logging onto www.santasletters.ie.

Each child will then receive a number of personalised responses from the man himself. They will also be sent a video showing what Santa and Rudolf get up to in the North Pole.

It costs €5 per child to send Santa a digital letter through Santa’s Letters, and 50% of profits will be donated to the chosen charities.

Founder of the initiative, Alan McMahon of Dungarvan-based BrandAble Ireland, says it’s a simple way to bring a lot of happiness to many children: “At a very low cost, children will experience the thrill of corresponding with Santa, while also supporting charities that do important work for other children going through difficult times.

"Adults will find the Santa’s Letters interface very easy to use, and of course digital letters save on paper which is another important consideration.”

Ronald McDonald House and Children's Health Foundation at Crumlin Children’s Hospital help with children and loved ones who require treatment for many illnesses, while Barnardos works with vulnerable children living in disadvantaged communities across Ireland, an increasingly important service with the rising cost of living.

Nessa OReilly, Head of Strategic Giving at the Children’s Health Foundation said it’s great to be among the charities benefiting from the initiative: "We are delighted to partner with Santas Letters this Christmas to bring the magic of Christmas to children across Ireland.

"When children write to Santa via santasletters.ie, they are supporting the life-saving work of Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly.”
