Local business makes snuzzle for Waterford City River Rescue

Local business Mad Jessie recently customised a new product for charity - the Waterford City River Rescue Snuzzle. A snuzzle is a multi-use tube scarf, and the company Mad Jessie has been making them for a number of years.

Help from a local school

The design on the new Waterford City River Rescue Snuzzle was created by the transition year students in Our Lady of Mercy secondary school. MJ, the owner and founder behind the business ran workshops with the TY class where they were visited by the Waterford City River Rescue, and then created their own design for the snuzzle. Over 40 students contributed to this design, and 50% of all sales will go directly to Waterford City River Rescue. MJ said:

It was such a great experience to work with the young women in the Mercy, and for them to really take ownership of this design. I am so proud of this Snuzzle, and I think it is so important to support organisations like the WCRR as they do exceptional work on a voluntary basis all year round.
