Gardaí in Tramore are appealing for information following a hit and run in the Ballinattin area yesterday.
The collision occurred at 5.30pm between a pedestrian and a car. The car failed to remain at the scene.
A male teenager was taken to UHW for treatment of non life threatning injuries.
A man in his 20s was later arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Tramore Garda Station.

He is being held under Section 13 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
