Woman arrested after burglary at charity shop in Waterford

A woman has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a charity shop in Waterford City.

The Sue Ryder Shop in Ballybricken was broken into sometime between 5pm on Thursday the 2nd of March and 10am on Friday the 3rd.

A charity box was stolen in the incident.

Waterford Gardaí have now told WLR News that a woman has been arrested.

She has been charged to appear before the next sitting of the district court.
