Interested in a zero-waste dining experience?

The Waterford Harvest Festival is one of Ireland’s leading food festivals. This year they are bringing sustainability right to the heart of the festivities. They are showcasing Waterford’s rich food heritage and celebrating our diverse restaurants, eateries, and producers. Find out more about the Harvest festival here. WASTED is a national education program for chefs and food service teams that is focused on reducing food waste in the hospitality industry. The Irish food service sector wastes over 200,000 tonnes of food worth €300 million per year – a significant cost that often goes unseen.

The WASTED Supper Club is a premium dining experience made entirely from food waste. It includes a 3-course meal and a welcome garden cocktail. WASTED Supper Club is a zero-waste dinner, created by Grow HQ Head Chef JB Dubois and his amazing team. GIY is proud to be organizing the Waterford Harvest Festival this year and this amazing event falls on the same weekend, showcasing the best of what GROW HQ has to offer through its food, gardens, and its unique ethos. Tickets for the event can still be purchased here.

Visit giy.ie if you are interested in hosting your own WASTED Supper Club!
