Families in Waterford are facing intimidation from drug-dealers regarding debts outstanding.
Oftentimes, this debt relates to a family member who is unable to pay, and so the debt is passed on to family members, with intimidation used as encouragement to pay.
As part of this one-hour special news feature produced and presented by Dymphna Nugent, she spoke with Detective Inspector Donal Donohoe from Waterford Garda Crime Unit and local Sinn Féin councillor John
She also spoke to a mother who maintained her anonymity, who lives in fear and a constant state of anxiety over her son, and his mounting drug debts and violent behaviour.
