Mary was joined by Software Engineer Aileen Drohan from the Walton Institute, about "Re-Fashioning the Future."

It is a workshop series on e-textiles, supported by Creative Ireland and Waterford City & County Council.

Car sale figures

She also spoke to Brian Cooke, Director General of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, about the latest figures for new car sales.

He had a look at the percentage of electric cars sold, as well as focusing on Waterford figures.

Resin-bound grave covers

And Brendan Forristal of Ferrybank-based Stone Set Surfacing joined Mary to talk about how his company is the first in Ireland to create resin-bound grave covers.
