The Tooranena Express ready to pull out of the station for the Amex in Cali

Another Thursday and another weekend on the PGA Tour for Seamus Power - what a difference a year makes.

The top 50 ranked golfer will tee it up at the American Express where the four rounds will be played over three courses in the Coachella Valley.

The PGA West Stadium Course, La Quinta Country Club and PGA West Nicklaus Course will all be tested by the star-studded field.

The Tooranena man will start off on the Nicklaus Tournament course where he partners Kevin Tway, Nick Mullen and Nick Mastroianni from six o clock Irish time.

While missing the cut at the same event in 2020, Power has placed T11 and T21 in his previous two outings at the Amex, and his recent form has him well placed to make an impact this weekend.

The Stadium course will be used twice this weekend, with the entrants walking its fairways on Thursday and Saturday, while also hosting the final round.

The eventual winner is going to bag themselves 500 FedEx cup points and €1.37 million dollars for their efforts.
