Mamma Mia, here they go again...Abba announce a comeback after 40 years

The pop sensation, who have spanned generations in terms of popularity, have announced a new tour and album after four decades. The news was revealed in London last night by the two 'Bs' of the band - Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. The two 'As,' as in the females of the band, Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, were at home in Sweden when the announcement was made.

What happens now?

The new album Voyage arrives on November 5th, and the group will also do a digital concert in London in 2022. Ben Morris, Creative Director says they will make avatar versions of 1979 ABBA.

The Swedish pop group are one of the most successful bands of all time. They're estimated to have sold 385 million records. Their top songs include Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Knowing Me Knowing You and Take a Chance on me.

During the era of the band, Faltskog and Ulvaeus were married, as were Lyngstad and Andersson. Both couples have since split.

The pop band won the Eurovision in 1974, with their hit song Waterloo.
