Today will be a wet and windy day with gales developing in coastal areas. Rain will persist through much of the day and some heavy and squally bursts are possible, especially in the late afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.
The rain will clear eastwards by tonight with clear spells and scattered showers of rain or sleet following from the west. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees in south to southwest winds decreasing moderate to fresh.
Becoming windy again tomorrow with fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds and gales on coasts. There’ll be sunny spells and scattered blustery showers, some of which will be heavy with a chance of hail and thunder. A few could be wintry over high ground early on. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.
