Predeceased by his loving wife Maureen, his parents and his brothers and sisters.
Much loved father of Marian, Des, Carl and Denise. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Ciara, Colm, Niamh, Laura, Darragh, Jonah, Sophie, Tia, Millie, Lily and James, his great grandchildren Carla, Zoe, Adrianna and Cillian, sisters Ann and Margie, sons-in-law Gerry and Michael, daughters-in-law Lisa and Yvonne, nephews, nieces, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Angela and Noel Norris, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May John Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Killure Bridge Nursing Home, Killure, Waterford on Friday November 14th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday November 15th in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butlerstown, Waterford, at 12:00noon,
followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Mass will be live streamed on Saturday from 12:00noon by following the Mass Link

Heartfelt thanks to Mary Burke and the wonderful staff in Killure Bridge Nursing Home who looked after Dad with great care and compassion and supported the family in his final days.

I pass on my condolences to John’s family. My mother Anne (also known as Nancy) was Maureen’s sister and she always spoke highly of John. I had the pleasure of meeting John a couple of times when I visited Ireland from Australia - where mum and dad had migrated to in 1955. John welcomed me warmly and took pride in showing me the Waterford my mum had grown up in. He adored his wife and children, grandchildren and great grand children - that was very evident.
